Crowdsourced Digital Learning Has Global Benefits

eSchool Network is a recently-launched venture from Kevin J. Ruth, FRSA, in the United States. An upside-down business model whereby member schools aid in building the product, thereby instilling a sense of ownership, eSchool Network (ESN) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to advancing digital learning in independent schools. One of the highlights of ESN is its Network for Social Good, a program that serves to connect US and international independent schools with schools in developing countries so that the former can relay digital lessons and courses to teachers and students in the latter. Network for Social Good is a free service.

ESN has established a relationship with one school in Tanzania already, but they are looking for more schools. If Fellows have connections to schools/start-up school ventures in developing areas, they are asked to contact Kevin via the eSchool Network website. Furthermore, if Fellows have ideas on how ESN can promulgate a public-private partnership in education, they are asked to contact Kevin via the website.
