RSA Fellow Gerard Darby, usually UK-based, will be visiting New York and Philadelphia as part of a traveling fellowship from the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust in October and November 2010.
He has a particular interest in business start up support and social enterprises and is keen to connect with any RSA Fellows involved in enterprise either as an investor, advisor or entrepreneur. He will be in New York between 19th and 31st October and in Philadelphia and possibly Washington DC for a few days in early November, before heading back to New York for a few more days before returning to the UK in mid-November.
Gerard has written two publications on young entrepreneurs published by the RSA and co-founded a business start-up program for socially excluded young people in London. He has written several publications on enterprise for young people including the Little Book for Big Ideas, Dare to Dream, and Your Little Book of Money.
Gerard is a member of the RSA Fellowship Council and previously organised the UK RSA Coffeehouse Challenge for two years.
