RSA Fellows in San Diego will meet Thursday, Sept. 9, at the Salk Institute, famous for its scientific research and architecture. Dr. Tony Hunter, FRSA, will give a brief architectural tour of the institute, then talk about his work there. He is director of the Salk Institute Cancer Center and professor in the Molecular and Cell Biology Laboratory. Research in his laboratory has resulted in a new approach to cancer treatment. Dr. Hunter’s list of awards and honors is long; click here for more information about Dr. Hunter.

Fellows will have a chance to talk individually with him afterward, over a glass of wine, as well as admiring the view of the Pacific Ocean from the Salk terrace.

All attendees must pre-register with Janet Sutter, RSA-US Trustee; email Janet at RSAsutter@earthlink.net for reservations and specific directions to the meeting.

We are happy to pass along announcements from RSA Fellows which are in keeping with the RSA’s mission. RSA is not responsible for the content of Fellows’ websites or organization of Fellows’ events.
