A Southeast Fellows’ initiative to provide weekend art classes to kids at an inner-city school has been given a grant to take the work to the next phase. Despite being in a city ranked as a top US arts destination, visual arts is not part of the school’s curriculum and local Fellows recognize the urgent need for improvements to state education. More details on the project will be available soon. For more information about the RSA Catalyst Fund news and awards visit http://www.thersa.org/fellowship/catalyst-fund/catalyst-news.
