Will definitely try to make it.
Thanks all responders both here and by email. Looks like we have a good agenda – would anyone else like to post a topic they are interested in sharing? Time is always so short at these networking events, so it’s sometimes really helpful to get some preliminary ideas flowing ahead of time.
As mentioned above, we will touch on the Catalyst Fund, the Fellowship Charter and the New York program in general, plus we’ll meet Samantha and Hugh who are both new to the New York group. Both have posted links in their respective comments above – really interesting stuff!
Hi Lynn,
If I am still here (hate to use the expression “stranded”, but ….) I’ll try to come along
Adam – I hope you get home but on the other hand we’d love to see you at the network meeting. You are our first volcano refugee. What brought you to New York?
I’ve been exhibiting at SOFA NY at the Park Lane Armory http://www.sofaexpo.com/NY/2010/exhibitor/zest/index.html
Think I might get back home before Monday though….
I’m looking forward to seeing you all and catching up on all your latest news and projects. I am also asking for feedback on recent RSA developments.
The RSA has been working hard to reconnect with its founding principles by developing fellowship networks, increasing engagement and supporting collaboration. We’ve all seen a difference – lots more communication, networks getting together all over the world, the creation of the Fellowship Council, a draft Fellowship Charter, and the RSA Catalyst Fund.
We want to know what you think about all this and in particular about the Fellowship Charter and the Catalyst Fund. It would be great if you could come to the meeting with questions, comments, perhaps even some project proposals. We will spend a bit of time going through this together. For those not attending the meeting, please feel free to comment here.
Like Samantha, I’m a social entrepreneur. I’ve started Carbon Outreach, a PR firm focusing on social media solely for sustainability-focused companies & non-profits (http://carbonoutreach.com).
I’ll attend tonight and look forward to chat about sustainability initiatives in New York City.
