Join Carole Franco, RSA-US Trustee, and Louise Bernard, Curator of American Literature, for a Fellows’ get together and tour of the Beinecke Library. The building features stunning exterior walls of white, gray-veined marble panes one-quarter inch thick which filter light so that rare materials can be displayed without damage. Current exhibitions include an exhibition of Visionaire magazine and a exhibition of color photographs by Carl Van Vechten. The visit will conclude with light refreshments and time for informal networking and discussion.
Please let Carole know as soon as possible whether you plan to attend. Guests who would be interested in knowing more about the RSA’s work and the Fellowship are welcome. Contact Carole at cfr7217964@aol.com.
Additional Note: RSA Fellows Martin Chasin and Phil Schenck, invite Fellows to join them at 2:00 pm for a tour of the Holloway collection of Victorian art at the Yale Center. They have also organized a dinner (after the Beinecke reception) at the Graduate Club. The cost of the dinner is $70. Contact Martin Chasin at mchasin@att.net
