A note from Peter Churchill, one of a UK group of fellows…

“We are a group of RSA Fellows in North East England (just short of the Scottish border) who came together a couple of years ago to try and find ways to better connect Fellows in the Region and beyond. We are currently running the “Virtual Coffee House” (VCH) web site, www.virtual-coffee-house.ning.com, which is open to all.

Our group would like to invite USA Fellows to start a USA Group on the site where you can tell your UK and other counterparts about what is going on here – for instance links to ACH discussions that VCH members can come and join in with. Think of the Group as an American table in the Virtual Coffee House, or a weekend cottage in Northumbria, where you can drop in and host virtual get-togethers in the UK, and invite visitors to the USA! And of course you can join in the general VCH discussions as well. In due course we hope to hold on-line events and would be very interested to hear from anyone with good ideas about how to do this – our experiments to date are described in the Virtual Coffee House paper on the site (see “New Users”).

We look forward to welcoming you to the Virtual Coffee House”.
